Every Mercury retrograde has a main theme, this one pulls heavy on our heartstrings. Pisces governs the subconscious, the emotional body, memory, intuition, dreams, and the invisible threads that connect past to present. Now, from February 26 to March 20, 2026, the energy turns inward, in a deeply restorative way. Themes: Emotional retrieval. Spiritual retrieval. Nervous system recalibration. (Here we go again…)

You may notice:

This retrograde unfolds between the eclipses, amplifying its significance. We are approaching a first-quarter Moon following a recent solar eclipse, a checkpoint in a six-month story that has just begun. Have you noticed subtle shifts already? New themes emerging?

We are also moving toward a Lunar Eclipse on March 3. The period between eclipses often feels vortex-like: people reappear, patterns / themes repeat, conversations resurface, these events mark a turning point.

There are moments in the cosmos that come with a loud bang. This is one of them.

Mars Square Uranus: The Spark Before the Shift

The applying square between Mars and Uranus carries electric tension. It’s restless, reactive, and unpredictable. This is the kind of aspect that can trigger sudden decisions, sharp realizations, or an abrupt surge of “I’m done” energy that seems to arrive out of nowhere.

Under this influence, reactions can be fast and fierce. Words may want to fly before reflection catches up, messages typed in heat, decisions made in a flash. Drastic changes that feel liberating in the moment but has a destabilizing energy in the long run.

Mars aims for action / Uranus demands freedom. When these two come together, there is no room for stagnation. Yet this aspect is not here to create chaos for the sake of it. At a higher expression, it represents breakthrough throu courage. The kind that refuses to remain trapped in patterns that have clearly expired. If handled consciously, this is a strong energy, that can lead us to freedom & emancipation.

The Protective Alignment: Inner and Outer Harmony

While the Mars-Uranus square brings volatility, there is a stabilizing current running beneath it. The Sun forms harmonious trines to both the Moon and Jupiter, creating a rare internal alignment. This suggests that despite the emotional waves and the external tension, your core remains intact. Your inner world and outward expression are cooperating rather than clashing. This is crucial.

The Sun trine Moon supports emotional integration (heart and mind are not at war) The Sun trine Jupiter expands perspective, reminding you that growth is not only possible but available! There isa sense of protection here. A sense that even if circumstances feel intense, the larger arc bends toward expansion.

The most significant thread: the North Node conjunct the Sun.

This is a destiny-charged energy. Directional and purpose-driven. It signals that what is unfolding now, is destined to happen, and it happens for our highest good. If something feels like it’s unraveling, it may actually be rerouting you. Course correction often feels uncomfortable because it requires honesty. But it is guided, so there is nothing to fear.

Lilith and the Refusal to Shrink

Layered into this configuration is the presence of Lilith in dynamic tension with both the Sun and the Nodes. (Sidenote: Lilith is one of my favorite points <3)

Lilith square the Sun can bring confrontations with suppressed truths, especially around identity, power, and self-expression. Self-diminishing patterns may no longer feel tolerable. Node square Lilith intensifies this theme. It can feel like destiny itself is demanding authenticity! There may be a quiet but unmistakable inner declaration: I will not shrink anymore!

Raw feminine truth: instinctual, embodied, unapologetic, rises to meet your life path. What no longer aligns with your integrity becomes impossible to ignore.

And yet, there is grace woven in this energy. The Ascendant (GMT+1) forms a harmonious trine to Lilith, suggesting that what was once hidden or feared within you can now become magnetic. The shadow, when owned, transforms into charisma & depth becomes presence.

Power, when integrated rather than suppressed, stops being threatening and starts being radiant. <3
