Full Moon in Capricorn ~ July 10, 2025
“As the world shakes, anchor within.”
Usually, I focus on how lunations like this impact us personally, (our emotions, relationships, inner work) but this Full Moon is different. With Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus dominating the chart, and all sitting at low degrees, the energy tilts away from personal healing and into collective evolution.
Sun at 18°50’ Cancer | Moon at 18°50’ Capricorn
Phase: Waxing Gibbous → Full (179°59’)
Elemental Dominance: Water + Air
Hierarchical Power Players: Pluto, Uranus, Neptune (Pluto & Neptune retrograde)
This Full Moon in Capricorn opens a portal between nurturing vulnerability and resilient ambition. With the Sun in Cancer illuminating the Moon in its opposite sign, Capricorn, we’re asked to integrate feeling with function, intuition with structure. Essentially, to be the parent and the provider of our own emotional world.
Although this is an Earth Full Moon, Water and Air dominates the chart. Emotions (Water) are swirling, and thoughts (Air) are flying, yet our grounding element, Earth, is scarce. This could result in a disorienting mix of overprocessing and emotional saturation without tangible outlets.
Themes: Emotional maturity, boundaries, long-term goals.
“How can I care for my future self without abandoning my present emotions?”
Capricorn Full Moon as a Collective Wake-Up Call
All Outer Planets at Low Degrees = Early Stages, High Volatility
When outer planets sit at early degrees, we’re still in that raw, experimental stage. The structures they’re beginning to transform are still clinging to the old model, and that friction creates instability.
Pluto in Aquarius ( 2° Rx): Collective systems, tech regulation, and social structures are being deconstructed. Pluto’s retrograde pulls the power struggle inward, but its effects still ripple out: underground movements, whistleblower moments, AI ethics battles.
Uranus in Gemini (0°09’): This is huge. Uranus rules sudden change, and Gemini rules information, tech, and transportation. We’re entering the era of shocking news cycles, AI’s next chapter, hacked communication systems, and sudden shifts in public discourse.
Neptune in Aries (2° Rx): The spiritual fog lifts, but only to reveal confusion around self-identity, courage, and leadership. We might see disillusionment with aggressive ideologies or warped visions of heroism unraveling.
Possible Global Effects:
- Political shake-ups: Scandals, power shifts, unrest, or sudden leadership transitions. Especially with Pluto involved.
- Cyber attacks or information leaks. With Uranus freshly in Gemini, we’re entering a phase of rapid, unpredictable change in the realms of media, communication, and thought patterns, both individually and globally.
- Natural disruptions: Extreme weather, tectonic or volcanic activity, especially with Neptune + Pluto in play.
- Mass collective realizations: This Moon might expose systems that are no longer sustainable, especially around security, infrastructure, or environmental policies.
“What kind of world are we living in, and what are we willing to change?”
We’re entering a new collective cycle. The foundations are cracking and breaking down, to make room for the kind of structures that can hold our future consciousness.
This lack of grounding makes it all the more important to cultivate inner stability. While outer systems realign, we’re called to anchor into our own emotional regulation, nervous system care, and spiritual discernment. Be mindful of what’s unfolding around you!
And come back, again and again, to the calm within.
